Why Prayer Life Ministries? |
If you are asking yourself this question, or perhaps some of the other questions that I will address, it would indicate to me that you, your leadership and congregation are looking for more.
|
|
|
| Why do things seem to be so spiritually dead and stagnant? Where is the passion and zeal we once had or long to have? |
|
| |
People tend to view God as a distant judge that Jesus saves them from, rather than having a fresh revelation that God passionately loves them as a father loves his children. He loves them for who they are, not for what they do or don't do. |
Why do people seem to be bored and lack spiritual commitment? |
|
| |
Many people don't have a sense of what it means to be a son or daughter in the Father's family, involved in his business as an apprentice and joint heir with Jesus. |
Why do people in the church seem to have as many problems in their lives as non-Christians? |
|
| |
They have yet to find the perfect love that fills the deep, inner longing that causes them to seek fulfillment in empty ways. |
Why is the core group of dedicated believers in our church so small and will it ever change? |
|
| |
The members haven't learned to see themselves as Jesus' brothers and sisters and as full partners in the Father's business. |
Why can't the board of deacons or elders seem to get on the same page with the pastor's vision for the church and community? |
|
| |
In today's church, the concepts of spiritual fathers, honor, and respect are generally unknown and must be re-learned. |
Prayer Life Ministries can help in the process of positioning the church to go to the next level with God.
The answers to most of the above questions stem from our standpoint on the nature of our relationship with our Heavenly Father. The body of Christ knows Jesus as Savior, but lacks in knowing the Father and in understanding our role as sons and daughters.
Jesus came to reveal the Father and His love, but the church in general has only sought a relationship with Jesus. Jesus has never been the destination for the Christian; He tells us that He is the Way.
In John 14:6, Jesus said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus is "The Way" to the Father. Our Heavenly Father is looking for sons and daughters to take His love to a lost, hurting and dying world.
When the love of the Heavenly Father penetrates our hearts, it is then that the zeal, passion, compassion, power, and anointing that Jesus walked in can be ours as well.
It is the goal of Prayer Life ministries to become a catalyst that will help the church reach its God-ordained destiny.
We can help in these ways:
- The Father's Love Series Conference is our suggested starting point for any church. Receiving a fresh revelation of the love of our Heavenly Father is the very thing that builds the foundation for all other spiritual growth and discipline.
- Walking in Sonship and Developing Your Prayer life are the follow up conferences that help us learn to walk with the Father in Sonship so that we can co-labor with Christ and be about the business of the Kingdom.
- Then the Intercessory Prayer conference can follow to help equip the saints for the work of service.
